ABOUT US
I'm Chloë Taylor and Equine Perspectives is a concept formed by forging my passion for horses with an on-going quest for knowledge. The resulting creation offers personalised training for horses and riders, riding lessons and equine-assisted empowerment in tailor-made programmes.

From a young age I was 'obsessed' with horses and filled my life with them, quickly ensuring I could ride whenever possible! I started with pony club, show jumping, competing and all the 'typical' horse activities. As I grew older I learnt and appreciated their valuable contribution to our evolution and society, work and health. The horse's unique way of existence became increasingly intriguing. I then pursued an undergraduate degree followed by a masters which allowed me to dedicate research to equines, their cognitive abilities, and specifically their roles in equine therapy.

The combination of horse and life experiences, and the dedication and love of research, soon birthed Equine Perspectives. The concepts I work with are constantly evolving but the base ethos is that working or living with horses requires excellent communication from both parties; communication requires perspective taking and insight. We must learn to speak horse; horses must learn to speak human. Then we can create confident, happy partnerships that can take horse-people from beginning, to adventure, and beyond!

My team looks like a one woman-plenty-of-horses, set-up, however it wouldn't be possible without incredible family and friends standing behind us, cheering us on and supporting us!

Founder and Principal
Hello, I'm Chloë. I have a BSc (HONS) in International Equine and Agricultural Business Management and an MRes in Anthrozoology. I'm also equipped with an abundance of equine experience.
It has been my dream for some time to combine my horsemanship philosophy with teaching. It is an excellent education that I worked hard at alongside a love of horses that allows me to bring my approach to horses and their life-enhancing traits to you.
